Responsibilities

  • Write the automation software that controls the mutation and movement of hosts within the Google Compute Engine fleet. Provide customers obtainable, reliable, and stable virtual machines while operating the fleet efficiently.
  • Be responsible for creating and developing quality and admission controls for software that are deployed in the fleet.
  • Build and collect data on fleet risk assessment to inform product definition and quality of deployment software to be used by other partner team.
  • Work with the Software Engineering team to establish robust engineering practices to maintain the quality of the software.
